HOW DOES OUR UNIQUE TAEGE AIR DELIVERY SYSTEMS WORK.

Our fans are larger capacity, which equate lower revs, more volume and less noise.

We use the tractor remote oil flow to operate the fan on our Air Seeders.

This oil is then put back to the tractor through a radiator mounted on the Air Seeder.

Air is drawn through the radiator fins, which heats up and introduces warm air into the system.

Warm air helps Fert and Seed run through the pipe work. (Damp / wet air, plus Fert equals concrete.)

We meter product into this air flow, at a calibrated rate, twisting and turning through the delivery pipe work up high into a tower, with delivery spider head outlets.

The upstand pipe (under the delivery spider head outlets) has dimples in it to mix the product back into a uniform mass, after turning corners in the pipe work, which may leave it running along one side of a delivery pipe.

We run our towers and spider heads taller than most (not in our bins) as we want fall on all our hoses, even on the uphill side.

Full air is bled off at the spider head outlet, and divided into however many drops / outlets are used.

This then allows a small amount of air, along with hose shake and tyne vibration, to deliver product correctly to the boot.

The reason we reduce the full blast of the air at the spider head, we do not want the full air force at the boot, which would blow the TILTH out of the trench, and promote seed bounce.

Taege unique metering system can be altered on the move for different rates, seed sizes and tractor speeds.

“When I needed to drill rough, steep, stony hill country, some which has never been drilled before or had a tractor over it; the Taege Air Seeder has proven itself invaluable, for the contour following of a solid 3m drill, with the hill accuracy of air.”
